A neolithic wooden sun henge in the heart of Ohio

Renaissance Park is proud to present to you our own wooden Henge! Most of you know of the famous and mysterious Stonehenge, But did you know that there still exist the remains of nine hundred Henges throughout Great Britain? Did you also know that these Henges were built by ancient people who used them as calendars, to tell time and for burial sites? Stonehenge was originally a full circle of stones and what we see today pales in comparison to what was built back in the time of the Neolithic and Bronze Age between 3000 and 1520 b.c. These Henges were built of stone or of wood and we are excited to announce that our Henge will be a walking tour of information for all who enter its circle!
